Today in the early morning a 7.0 magnitude earthquake has struke New Guinea. No civilain causalities were reported. Also there was no sign or warning of a tsunami. This earthquake could have very well had an impact on the people and the area similar to Haiti. This earthquake was very strong and definetly had bad intentions. Luckily no reports were confirmed of anyone bieng hurt.
Wildfires in Russia
When the wildfires startted numerous days back around 125,000 hectares of Russia's forests were burned to perish. In the 17 regions where the fires took place around 40 people died. Some villages such Verkhnyaya Vereya in the Nizhny Novgorod do not have fire stations and two fire trucks drove the other way when they where on duty. In the midst of all of this 7 people died in that village. Prime minister Vladimir Putin stated that he was going to severely punish bureaucrats who did not properly fight the fires.
