Flood in Pakistan has worsened due to heavy rainfall.
The situation in Pakistan has seriously deteriorated over the last week, with heavy rainfall worsening the flooding in the north-west and south of the country. Then chance of finding survivors has become very slim. The flood has taken over 1,500 lives and left 290,000 homes destroyed. The U.S. and many other country's have already donated $83,000 to ensure a quick and swift response to the relief effort.
Green Flood hit Iowa
Earlier this month a green flood hit Iowa. The flood lasted 2 days and killed one person. Experts rated the flood as a 1 because only one life was taken and because it wasn't as serious as other flood or hurricanes that affected the region. The green flood affected more than 8500 km of land and made moving through the area very difficult.
